From the airport:
Catch a shuttle bus; these leave from outside the Arrivals area of both the International and Domestic Terminals. The trip costs $16 per person (one-way) and they will drop you at our front door. It's best not to buy a return ticket; when you need to go back we can sell you a ticket to the airport for $12. Depending on your flight, you may have to go by taxi anyway.
If you'd like to come by taxi, it shouldn't cost you more than $45. Try to find another lost soul with a backpack and see if you can share the ride to Kings Cross and split the cost.
You can also buy a seven-day Bus/Train/Ferry Pass including a return ticket to and from the airport. Buy this only if you are going back to the airport within seven days and intend to use the buses and trains extensively. The cost is about $40.
From Kings Cross Train Station:
We're located 100 metres to the north of Kings Cross Train Station. Take the Victoria Street exit and walk down the street. ChilliBlue is on the right-hand side.
ChiliBlue is located in a quiet street just behind Kings Cross - the nightlife center of Sydney.
We are also within 10-minute walk of the city center and all major tourist sites and only 120 metres north of Kings Cross Train Station.
The Sydney Harbor and famous Harry's Pies are a short five-minute walk
The City Town-Hall and Queen Victoria Building are less than 15 minutes' walk away.
Sydney Opera House, the Rocks and the main Ferry point are only 20 minutes' walk from here.

XMAS and New Year Policy: Minimum stay of 14 nights with a check in made before the 21/12 and check out the 04/01 If you require different dates please contact the property make arrangements with staff. We require 50% of the remaining payment at the time of reservation and all bookings must be fully paid by the 1st December.

We do not guarantee all guests will be placed in the same room as we are a very popular hostel that is mostly full so it is hard for us to move guests around. We will however try our best to accommodate you and move things around the following days.
Opening Hours are 8 am to 9 pm Mon-Fri and 9 am to 7 pm on Weekends and public holidays. Please advise your arrival time after booking, and note that it takes approximately 1 hour to travel from Airport to our place. If you are arriving late you must make arrangement with us for late check-in procedure. If you do not arrange late check-in your booking will be cancelled and funds forfeited,
We do not accept any credit card starting with number 6. A surcharge of up to 5% may apply to American express and diners club. If your card expires before your arrival we may cancel your booking or charge you 10% of the accommodation cost as deposit. Please contact us to ensure you update us with any changes.
If you are a current guest and wish to extend your stay DO NOT BOOK online! You must arrange this with reception. Any extensions made online will be ignored and you will lose deposit paid to third party.
We don’t accept government/religious-funded tourists or school/university groups.
New Years Policy: There is a minimum stay. We do not permit check-in or check-out on the 30th or 31st December or the 1st January unless with prior approval and arrangement. Full payment is required on booking (50% on reservation and balance by 1 December). New Years bookings are not refundable.
Although we will try our best to accommodate you in the same room prior to arrival or within a few days after checking in, this is not always possible as we are a very popular hostel and may not have available beds when you first arrive to accommodate you in the same room.
