Please note that due to renovation work on the blue M3 metro line, it will be replaced by a bus replacement service after 8:30pm on weekdays and all day at the weekend.
From Nyugati station:
Come out and turn left along Terez Korut. You will pass a McDonalds, Costa Coffee and a Post Office. Next you should cross over the street Podmaniczky utca. Exit the station through the main entrance and follow the building round to the left of the bus stops. Get on the bus 73 and get off at Podmaniczky Utca. There is a side road just ahead, Karman Utca, walk down there and the hostel will be in front of you at the end of the road. Always make sure you validate your metro/bus/tram tickets in the machines when you board!
If you are coming in late at night, there are night buses as well as taxis. But only use the official taxi stand located outside of the airport, and even then it may not be the cheapest option. Do not pick up unmarked taxis from the street! An often cheaper option will be to email us and we can help you organize an airport transfer that will drop you right outside the hostel for a cheap and reasonable price! However, we usually need 24 hours notice. Looking forward to meeting you!.
